Peddicord being assigned the task of analyzing the need for a human intelligence (HUMINT) capability. Today, basic and advanced parachuting in the SEAL, SDV and SWCC Teams is routine and an accepted part of doing business. For Guam UDTs 3, 4, and 6 were the teams assigned. At Saipan and Tinian UDTs 5, 6, and 7 were given the missions: day time for Saipan and night for Tinian.
