Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Mr. Steven Audrey Coleman, age 76, who passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at his residence. Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Coleman; four children, Heather Hale (Stephen), Luke Coleman (Nicole), Jim Coleman (Faith), and Rebecca Carter (Daniel); thirteen grandchildren, Bailie Harvey (Mallory), Darienne Sisu (Sebastian), Elijah Hale (Amber), Bryn Coleman, Jake Carter, Laine Carter, Elisabeth Hale, Mary Grace Bridges, Macy Carter, AngelaMarie Weitz, Ella Rose Rzasa, Gage Graham, Ginny Clark (John); one great granddaughter, Audrey Rogue Harvey; one brother, David Coleman (Jane); and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his entire family. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Goldie Mae Arthur; and his wife Jerri Rose. Steven Virgil Coleman, age 65, of Clayton, Delaware passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends on Thursday, June 25, 2020 following a long and valiant battle with cancer. It's surprising how much a musical selection can affect mourning. During his retirement he purchased property in Fairdealing where he and his wife, Sheri, operated a hobby farm with horses, cows, and a menagerie of animals until they moved back to Charleston in 2015.   

Steven’s greatest joy in life was family.  He was a dutiful son and big brother, a proud father and doting grandfather.  He enjoyed simple pleasures like riding his motorcycle, but fishing was his favorite pastime.  He was a true fisherman, like his father, and was always willing to share his boat or gear with anyone he loved.

Surviving are a daughter, Ginny Holloway and husband Brody of Andrews; a son, Steven Coleman and wife Tammy of Marble; one sister Karen Gilbert and husband Al of Winston Salem, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, Kilby Helms and husband Greg, Tucker, Lailee, Juliet, Malachi and Moses Holloway, Eric Duong and wife Shayna, Blake, Brooke and Brysen Newton, Shyla, Wyatt, Kynadee and Kyndall Coleman; three nieces Carissa, Katie and Carmen; one nephew Josh.

A Celebration of Life was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters North Campus, 282 George Walker Drive, Andrews, NC 28901. The service was live-streamed.
